Chapel Sound Guide

Introduction:

This is the soundboard we use to control all audio in the Chapel. There is a lot of buttons, which might be scary at first, but don’t worry, we simplify things so that running sound is easy! We will primarily focus on everything inside of the red section. We won’t need to worry about most things outside of that.

Controlling Background Music:

  1. To control the the volume of background music, look for the channel labeled “BG Music” on the right side of the board.

  3. Unmute the channel by making sure the “MUTE” button is not red.

  5. Now raise the level of the fader to adjust the volume level!

Controlling the Center Screen Computer:

  1. To control the volume of the Center Screen Computer for any videos that you might want to play through ProPresenter, first navigate to the second page of faders on the left side of the soundboard, then look for the channels labeled “Center L” and “Center R”.

  3. Unmute the channels by making sure the “MUTE” buttons are not red.

  5. Now raise the level of the faders to adjust the volume level!

Controlling the Wireless Microphone:

  1. To control the volume of the wireless handheld microphone, first navigate to the second page of faders on the left side of the soundboard, then look for the channel labeled “HH”.

  3. Unmute the channel by making sure the “MUTE” button is not red.

  5. Now raise the level of the fader to adjust the volume level!

  7. If you would like a quicker way of unmuting and muting the wireless handheld microphone, you can use the “HH” mute group on the far bottom right corner of the soundboard.

Controlling the Band (Worship):

  1. To control the volume of the band, first make sure that the band groups are unmuted.
    1. These are located on the right side of the soundboard. Make sure all of these are unmuted and their faders are up.

  2. Now, navigate to the first page of faders on the left side of the soundboard. Use all of these individual channels to control both the vocal microphones and instruments.

  4. If you would like a quicker way of unmuting and muting all the band and vocals, you can use the “BAND” and “VOX” mute groups on the far bottom right corner of the soundboard.
